Does the OEM Toyota hood deflector work?

    Yes... i do have quite a few rock chips on my hood already. Had zero chips on my previous truck with AVS hood deflector.

    Was joking in my earlier reply. A good deflector with a decent angle will keep anything from hitting your windshield. On a previous truck I had one with a good 15 degree angle. Didn’t think much of it until one night on a hunting trip a deer jumped out in front of me as I was doin’ 55 mph, deer flew over the hood and windshield and was blown over the top. Not a scratch on the truck. Did some testing after that, at 55 mph I tried to touch the windshield with my hand, can’t be done gets blown right off. I lost a good left hand that day, but I’m a believer now.
