The Fappening

I replaced my tires this week with Toyo Open Country AT3's in 265/75r16. After having them mounted, I brought the truck in to PepBoys for an alignment.

I don't know if this started with the new tires being mounted, or after the alignment, but whenever i'm rolling i can hear a "fap-fap-fap" sound that increases/decreases with speed (starting around 20mph/windows down). I've checked multiple times for any debris in the treads or anything that could be rubbing. So far, I see nothing. Any thoughts on what it could be?

 

Probably just the more aggressive tread that you aren't used to. Why did you get an alignment?

My last set was an AT as well, albeit a 70 aspect instead of 75. I got the alignment because I also did my lift a week or two ago.

Edit: Check your driveline. I nearly drove a coworker batshit with the ziptie-'round-the-shaft prank.

 

A fellow /b/tard from 4chan, I see. Have you checked to make sure the shop didn't leave the tire labels on the tread?
