What's up guys! Long time lurker, first time poster.
I picked up a 2011 double cab V6 about 6 weeks ago. It's still a baby - 75k on the clock. I'm digging it so far & coming from a 4 cylinder, I love the throttle response of the 6!
Anyway like I said, I've been lurking here for a bit & have learned a lot from you guys already. Future mods (for now) are going to be finding a roof console with a temp guage (I really miss that on my old car!), doing the map light mod & installing a tailgate lock.
A couple of questions for you guys: is there an indicator or light that should come on when the fog lights are on? And, does the outside mirror switch light up when the lights are turned on?
    Thanks, Brian

Welcome to TW! The fog light switch does have an indicator bulb (at least my 2014 does) which is easy to swap out if yours is burned out. I made a tutorial vid for it here: https://youtu.be/ol1BAKcb9Jo

    Welcome!
I'm not aware of an indicator light coming on when the fog lights are turned on. Just a light that illuminates the switch. I wish we had an indicator bulb because I tend to forget they're on after using them.
My guess is the mirror switch/controls are not illuminated. I can't recall, but in boogie's video above it doesn't seem to show an illumination on those controls.

I had thought about adding the temp control into my truck since it didn't come with my year, but just ended up installing my own temp gauge elsewhere and keeping my 2nd eyeglass holder that I actually have been using.

    Happy modding!

As far as an indicator light for the fog lights your year doesn’t have one. Your fog light switch lights up but it does that when your head lights are turned on. There’s nothing on your display that indicates the fogs are on. Also I don’t think the side mirrors adjustment switch lights up.

The FJ cruiser fog light switch has an indicator, but it requires a different connector and 2 extra wires hooked up.
