After mounting my new SEMA wheels with 265 70 R17 Wildpeaks earlier this week (factory Sport suspension), I was getting rubbing on my WeatherTech mud flaps at 3/4 and full lock on the drivers side. Looked at heating up and modifying the WT flaps but I would have had to butcher them in several places. For those interested in running these wheels with flaps, RekGen mud flaps provide just enough clearance! I travel a lot of gravel roads and wanted to keep the added protection of flaps for the truck. Let me know if anyone has any questions!

Are the RekGenss just plug and play? Where did you get them?

Putting mudflaps on my 2014 WRX in the winter was a PITA!!

Is that a cellphone signal booster? What model? Does it work well?
I assume that bracket lets you fold the antenna down?

Piece of cake. Install for 4 wheels took about 30 minutes including unboxing and cleanup. Most of that was turning the wheel different directions to access the screws.

Bought them on Amazon for the quick shipping. Spent about $100.

Not quite today but got my Mobtown sliders mounted. Man these things are beef supreme! Hopefully I'll have some action shots before too long but for now these will have to do.

is the antenna a call phone booster? If so, how well does it work?

Im currently running the “ drive reach model “ it’s pretty nice, it works with all phone service and multiple phones at once. Only bad part you have to be like 1ft-2ft away from the internal antenna to get a boost.

I recently upgraded to this antenna. The brackets came with new antenna, But I ran it the opposite way how it should run hahaha!!

I just recently installed it. I didn’t like the shark fin. I’m heading out tonight where I know I won’t be getting signal

Im pretty sure you can cut it after assembly, but I cut mine before. I’m waiting for the red paint to dry on my panic button before assembly. I’m also in the process of cold bluing the key itself.

I’m using super blue because I couldn’t find Birchwood Casey’s aluminum black locally. I’m too impatient to wait for an order, but I believe that would work much better.

This is the first coat before steel wool. I’ll post pictures when I’m finished with it.

I think they will work just fine. The only thing I did not like is the hood bracket is held in place by one hood bolt on the bottom of the bracket and 3m adhesive on the top of the bracket. I would have thought designing it to utilize both hood bolts would have been a better idea, but regardless it does feel solid. You can see what I’m talking about if you look at the drivers side hood strut where it meets the hood.

Removing both hood bolts gets sketchy for people installing the struts by themselves, or even with help, because of the weight of the hood.
