Traction Control light w/ grinding sound?

    I'm a new Tacoma owner and just need some feedback from anyone knowledgeable with typical, or normal Tacoma behaviors.

    Today I took a turn in to a slight inclined driveway a bit too fast and rough. As that happened the "traction control" light flashed and I heard a grinding sound from under the truck. Has this ever happened to anyone?

    The light disappeared and noise did not continue after I got through/ over the driveway hump.

    I could use professional and honest answers, no trolls or smart-ass answers.
