    Hello everyone,

This is my second Tacoma and I absolutely love it. With this being said, when I bought the truck it only came with regular tires (no all-season and no winters). Seeing that winter is just around the corner, I want to grab myself a pair of winters on rims but I am not too sure what the best bang for my buck is. I live in the GTA and don't want to spend more then $700 tax in.

Any suggestions on links/tires to check out? I've been seeing a bunch on kijiji and have been referred to Factory Tire, but I'm just not too familiar with what to get. My rim size is 245/75R16. I came across this (https://www.kijiji.ca/v-tires-rims/london/toyota-tacoma-winter-times-tires-x4/1527911432) on Kijiji and was wondering if any of you thought it was a good price, tire, and a good alternative for a winter. I checked an online Tire Size Calculator ( ) and entered my current tire size, and the size of the Kijiji listed one. It said that there is a +0.3%. I have heard that this is okay and will just fine. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

That looks like a decent enough price, buying used winters isn't ideal as the grip is best when they are new.
We just replaced our Blizzaks after 8 winters and they would still be alright in some peoples opinion.

You could get those as a stop-gap for a few years and then get new tires again.
I'm a little suspect with no pics of the tread.

    Hey Mike,
Thanks for the advice. It seems as though they have only been used for 2 seasons. I am waiting to hear back from the guy to find out more information as to why he is selling them, if there are any issues with them, and if he can send me a picture of the tread. I will share it with you once I get it.

Keep in mind most wheels are going to be around $400.
And I just paid $998 for brand new Blizzaks at Costco.ca two weeks ago.

Ive had awesome performance out of the Toyo AT3 on my customers trucks, they are quiet on the road but aggressive enough for any trail, have up to a 65k mile rating and they are 3peak snow rated so you can have that assurance come snow fall.
