    Hello everyone,

This is my second Tacoma and I absolutely love it. With this being said, when I bought the truck it only came with regular tires (no all-season and no winters). Seeing that winter is just around the corner, I want to grab myself a pair of winters on rims but I am not too sure what the best bang for my buck is. I live in the GTA and don't want to spend more then $700 tax in.

Any suggestions on links/tires to check out? I've been seeing a bunch on kijiji and have been referred to Factory Tire, but I'm just not too familiar with what to get. My rim size is 245/75R16. I came across this (https://www.kijiji.ca/v-tires-rims/london/toyota-tacoma-winter-times-tires-x4/1527911432) on Kijiji and was wondering if any of you thought it was a good price, tire, and a good alternative for a winter. I checked an online Tire Size Calculator ( ) and entered my current tire size, and the size of the Kijiji listed one. It said that there is a +0.3%. I have heard that this is okay and will just fine. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

I think it depends on where you live and do you plan on going offroad. In winter I use Firestone destination at2s which is great for upstate NY. We get a ton of snow but highway roads are maintained well. If you want a true winter tire look at the Nokias. If you would like an offroad plus winter tire look at the Falken Wildpeaks.

Look on PMC tire, based out of Quebec...3 day free shipping. Any winter tire is better than any all season tire. :) I’ve had great experience with Hankook and Sailun Winter tires.

I have a set of Cooper Discoverer AT/W that I use year round in Edmonton. They're winter rated, and I find them to be totally acceptable on snow and ice.

    None, stock
Probably an unpopular opinion...but I've always had/liked Kelly Edge AT's on my Tacoma. I've survived 4 Maine winters so far with them (no weight in bed or anything else either).

Boco10 - I live in the GTA (Vaughan), Ontario and I don't plan on going off-roading.
TegoTaco - Thank you, but it's out of my budget.
AdamM - How is your fuel mileage with those all-terrains? How many kilometers to the tank? Also, where would you suggest I buy them? Any specific locations/websites?
