    My guess is just a bad power transformer or a step down voltage regulator.

    If you have a local music store, go buy another one and test it out.

    If it buzzes, you know it's not the amp and either something in your house wiring or guitars. Return it under policy and get your money back.

    If it doesn't buzz, it's the amp. Return it and get your money back. Then see if gc can fix it.

    It's wierd. Doesn't buzz with anything plugged in. Then I plug in the cord, with or without guitar, and the buzzing starts. Both cords are new... might have to take a closer look at the input jack...

    Yes. It's possible the solder on the ground of the input jack worked loose.

    Actually, after you look at that, check to see if each of the 4 speaker wires are in their correct polarity order.

    And nix GC.
    I would find a local blackstar dealer and have them send it back to the company for repair.

    Using a legit instrument cable? When I was using a cheap one it was awful. My Ernie ball cables make no buzz. Just trying to help throw another option out there for ya
