I've seen too many stories about tacomabeast headlights allowing moisture inside and also prematurely fading/hazing. Not sure if I would ever buy them, they seem to be an inferior product to OEM.

I have heard the same thing. Just save the money and get morimoto headlights

It's not hard to do a projector retrofit with a halogen reflector light. You just get a projector that mounts with a rear threaded lock ring which fits the stock bulb opening.

I was able to get LED bulbs in these but you have to cut a hole in the back of the cap to get the LED in and properly sealed. One downside is that these headlights use a H7 bulb vice H11 so even though they say they are plug and play, you can't swap your LED headlights from your stock housing. So if you get them make sure you order a pair of H7 LEDs.
