    Hi guys have a 2005 Tacoma RWD V6 pre-runner extended cab SR5. I recently did a Ready Lift 3” F 2” R.

    Now I want to get rid of my stock 16” 6 lug wheels with 265 70 16 tires to 17x9 5.5 6 lug wheels with -6mm offset and 285 70 17 tires.

Amazon has the wheel headline as -12mm but the wheels are -6mm

I don’t mind removing mud flaps or minor trimming but what I want to know is will this setup work and will I need to do a CMC? I prefer not to have to cut/weld anything.

    Thanks

Thanks for the help TW! lol

Oh well I got what I wanted and I like the way it turned out so if if anyone does something similar maybe this helps you.

I don’t do much off-roading but I wanted the height and looks so on 2006 RWD TRD Off-road SR5 I went with the Ready LIFT suspension lift 3” F 2” R, it rides great.

Im running Pro Comp series 61 Congo’s 17x9 -6mm offset with 4.75 BS, Nitto Terra Grappler G2 285 70x17. I was prepared to do the CMC but didn’t need it only very minor trimming and removing my mud flaps. No rubbing at full lock as far as I can tell and the shop here in south Florida I used, Mr. Wheels
