Hello. The radio in my 2009 Tacoma is acting up. There is no easy way to adjust the volume; sometimes you have to pull on the knob and turn while other times you have to push it in or turn it slowly. Sometimes when you turn the volume knob, the radio turns off completely. Any ideas on an easy fix other than replacing the whole unit? Thanks for any help.

That’s a digital fader. In my experience, when a digital fader starts acting up, it needs replaced.

I still have my 2009 Tacoma factory radio. I pulled it out almost immediately and it’s been sitting on the shelf ever since. I recently decided to keep my Tacoma forever and not trade it in so I could probably be convinced to let it go.
