Yesterday I took my 2020 4X4 DC TRDOR to the local tire shop (Les Schwab) and had a readylift 3/2 leveling kit installed. Obviously bigger tires were in order too so I opted for some 33’s! I went with Mazama (made by sumitomo) OpenRange 285/75/16 all-terrains. I wanted to keep my stock TRD wheels. It’s all done and I think it looks much better. I finally feel like “one of the cool kids” with a little lift and some bigger tires! Couple pics:

So... with the OEM wheels these tires DO rub a tiny bit, but only on full steering lock either direction. They don’t touch any part of the wheel-well at all, the ONLY interference is slight touching on the UCA (again at full steering lock only). I can probably “live” with this but I’m kind of tempted to throw some wheel spacers on just so it’s never an issue.

My local tire shop will not install wheel spacers so it’s on me to decide if I need them, and to install them if I want them. What advice can anyone offer?

    Thanks in advance!

I went with Spider Trax on my 18 TRD OR. When I went with a lift and 265/75/16 Wildpeaks the stance just didn’t look right to me. Will go with a aftermarket wheels at some point just not decided yet what I want.upload_2020-11-1_9-10-29.jpg

Awesome. Just ordered a set of four. Thanks for the advice. I was about to pull the trigger on an “Extreme Terrain” set but I think these Spider-Trax ones seem to have a better “trax” record!
