Awhile back, had the burned headlites issue that was common to the Tacoma OEM part.
The headlites I found on fleabay worked OK, for awhile. Now, they have the same issue, and MORE than the OEM units I removed and replaced with these. Are there any reasonable priced replacements out there that actually do the job? These did the burned yellow lamps thing quite early. Then the plastic inside cracked and fell off. Now, the RH lite is collecting water vapor.........
    Any recommendations for replacements?

I put ANZOs in from Rock Auto when my right one developed a verticle crack nearly the length of the lens. I didn't like the light output or the quality of fit of the Anzos so I went back to OEMs.

    The short answer... No.

All plastic headlights these days, even OEM, are garbage. But OEM will be the highest quality and anything else will typically be quite a bit lower quality. It's quite a shame that the OEM's don't give a shit about longevity when it comes to headlights. People these days buy new cars ever 3-5yrs and the OEM's only have to deal with parts like these while the car is under warranty so there's no real incentive for them to make decent lights.

When you buy replacements, make sure you get the post-TSB version. That will take care of the melting issue. After that you're still gonna have to deal with them hazing over and possibly those cracks as well. The best solution to buy OEM replacements then paint them with an automotive grade clear coat (clear + hardener). Then, make sure to wax them at least a couple times of year (same as you should be doing with your truck's paint) and then give them an occasional buff/polish whenever they dull a little.

Unfortunately, unless your car is stored indoors at all times when not driven sanding/polishing and/or replacement of the headlights is basically a regular maintenance item these days.
