    Congrats! :yay:

Adjust them to be even, and so they will hold the truck on a slight grade at 3-4 clicks, it should then hold the truck solidly on a moderate grade at 6-7 clicks.

There abouts is how I have mine adjusted, granted I have a 6MT with the T handle brake and use said parking brake as God intended daily.

I don't think you're calling me out, so no worries there.

Always up for learning something new and what you've said there is wrangling my brain similar to this guy setting up what we called the egg. Something used for super conducting experiments. He was calibrating this thing to put out 198 amps at ZERO volts.... Say what? Conventional wisdom says that's not happening.

    But I digress...

Professor google says otherwise though: 3600° for propane and 3730° for mapp. This makes sense to me because propane won't melt silver solder used in today's plumbing but mapp gas will.

As for the heat sticking; isn't that dependant on the materials ability to conduct, absorb the heat as it were?

Very nice! Yes, always always always adjust the brakes when you've taken them apart.

With disc brakes, as the pads wear, brake fluid fills the bore making up for the pad loss.

Rear brakes pull the shoes away from the drums as you've seen with those springs. The wear for the shoes is made up with the Star wheel adjuster and the lever that moves the wheel to expand it was the brakes are applied
