2020 taco over head dome light

I replaced with less blew a couple of fuses got lights to work on manual position but won't shut off and they don't work with door operation any clue anybody

Welcome, so you got led bulb. What do you mean they don’t shut off? Even the switch off they are on? And do map lights still operate as they should?

I put new bulbs in drove to virginia and found lights not working the dome lights found that fuse blew replaced fuse light work but when I put them in normal operation they stay on checked all switches and they are in normal operation settings like they are being held on i have to put switch to off or they stay on till time shuts them off

 

There are two switches to turn the lights on/off. Apparently they are kinda confusing idk if that is the issue

 

The dome light is kinda weird, make sure the switch is infront of the of left side / drivers side setting (as seen in first picture below). When it’s like that, the dome lights will shut off when the doors close.

sometimes the light will not even turn on at all. That means the sliding switch is between the left and right settings, or the map lights are set to “OFF”.

If you try to turn on the dome light when the map lights are off, the light in the dome will flicker which can blow a fuse.

the switch on the map light should always be set to automatic/middle of the switch is flush with the surface of the map cluster (second pic), so it will turn on and turn off on its own.

tl;dr map light has the master switch

 

Yes the door switches are on the door mode but the dome lights still stay on for about 20 mins when you restart they come back on and stay on like the door is ajar all this from a blown fuse

The 194 its just like the ones I took out purchased at auto zone

 

I bought a set of interior led bulbs over a year ago for $11 and they work great. Here is the link

this set also comes with led tag lights (mounted behind the bumper facing plate)

 

Will my lights work fine what I put them in manual to turn them on I have no power with that they just don't come on when I open the door or when I lock the vehicle or unlock the vehicle like there's a relay burnt out that's what I'm trying to fix
