Throttle body and replace PVC valve

    Is there reason to clean the throttle body and change PVC valve on a 2017 with 30,000 miles? Dealerships always recommending some BS. Last year they wanted to clean the fuel injectors.

    There's a very good reason: Because these types of services are high-profit ones. I'm not sure what (or even if there is one) the replacement interval for the PCV valve is, but if you need a new one at 30K, you probably have bigger issues. As for the TB, it can't hurt, but it's also something you can do in your driveway with a <$10 can of spray (which is all they're going to do). As for injectors, I add a dose of injector cleaner to my tank once a month and have never had a problem on any of my injected engines.
