Winch mount bolt torque specs

    I'm not sure exactly what this post is turning into, but feel free to harass me if this is the wrong place for this.

    In a classic act first think later maneuver I managed to break a bolt while installing a winch onto a hitch mount. Maybe tighter is not always better... It was one of the 4 bolts that secure the winch to the bottom plate. My question is what should I torque the bolts to? I read through the installation and safety manual for the winch but could not find anything. For reference the bolts are G8 M10 1.5 x 30mm.

    Edit: After 2 seconds of google I did manage to stumble upon this table, and it looks like 31-39 foot pounds seems to be appropriate, can anyone confirm? Maybe this is more of a psa on not being an idiot...

    My dumb self blindly used the torque wrench and set them all between 70-80. Should I replace the bolts that didn't break or just readjust the torque?

    I would remove and replace the over torqued bolts. They are at near-shear strain if you did them all the same.
