    Trailers made from truck beds are the least practical trailers. Fun marketing, sure. But a terrible idea in practice.

    Oh I agree & I have no desire for one. But I am surprised its taken Toyota this long to do it.

    For general purpose, totally agree. But for a specific use case of "OvErLaNd" type camp trailers that could haul something if need be, the tacoma bed trailer seems to check all the boxes.

    Been around since the first guy front end totaled a pickup. Simple to make, yet I suspect toyota will charge tens of thousands of dollars for one.

    And the guys putting $1000s into racks, molli panels, RTTs, etc that run around town with it all will happily fork over the ~15k for a matching trailer for the cool factor
