    The canopy itself minus the tent is about 3 feet (36 inches), with the tent mounted it is about 8 inches more.

    It won't look bad being taller then the headache rack especially if you are running a roof rack and or boxes, @ChandlerDOOM 's set up shows that idea of the box being taller then the headache (the gray dcsb)
