Well at 7am my extremely rural district had a line 100 long.

 

Probably a record turn out tbh. Which is good, without getting too political, at least people care enough to make their voices heard this time.

 

My wife was in line at 6:30. 21 in front of her waiting for the doors to open. Home by 7:30. Can only imagine what’s it’s going to be like after work!

 

Lol yeah, I pulled in at like 7am on the nose and there was nowhere to park.

 

Good morning folks. Been lurking to stay out of trouble over election rants. Drove past a polling place and the line was longer than I wanted to wait in. I will go after the early voters go to work and the old folks go to vote. Lines should be shorter. Have a good day all and be safe.

 

We usually go right after work. Walk over to the fire house. Since I’m WFH today that will be around 4pm

 

gotta brave the lines after 18:30..

 

Morning all! I'm taking a half day vacation today so I can go vote around around lunchtime and hopefully not spend too much of my day waiting in line.

 

I didn't count people, but at 0655 the line was 45 minutes long. By polls open at 0700 it was over an hour.

My Suck Meter is pegged on full with all the political ads and robo calls. Heading out to our local polling place in a few minutes. It's a 5 minute drive. We live in a rural area so the crowd is never huge. Hopefully we'll have missed the early group of folks headed to work.

 

Waited an hour and a half outside with the other "get there when the polls open" crowd. We were 113 & 114. Just thawing out.....

 

It's come a long way! Here's what we started with. A hunting shack with holes in the walls, windows out and a a turkey buzzard living inside. We had to pull the "cute" fireplace down as it was a wreck. Inside was snake skins and various animal bones. Still no electric or water but a much cozier place. The stove is very small but the cabin is only a single room, 20x20 with a 10' shed attached. Easy to heat now that we insulated.
We do most of our cooking outside over the fire if it is not raining or the snow is not too deep.

 

Took us about 10 minutes - 5 minutes longer than usual. Seemed like a good turnout for our little township.

Does anyone know if the 2 year complimentary service covers state inspection?

 

I don't think so, my dealership offers free lifetime inspections though.

thankfully hit the polls at just before 11am, wait time was maybe 10min.
