So i’m looking to upgrade my 265/70 ko2’s to 285’70’s
I wanted to keep the C rated as i don’t want a 10 ply E rated tire. So i found the ko2’s in C rated but i noticed they are Q speed rated. Is this a issue?
I noticed that BFG doesn’t make the C rated ko2’s in a S speed rating anymore. I know these tires come on the new jeeps and all that with the white letters but i’m not sure if they are S or Q rated. i’m assuming they could be Q rated but don’t know for sure

My question is will this matter whatsoever for my truck?

That's what I bought, picked up some from a new 2020 Rubicon with no miles on it. The owner went with STT Pros in 37s.
They work great, 51lbs, I'm still getting good Mpg. 18 to 20 on the hwy and 16 around town.

i was going to say. if one goes 100 on the highway it’s not like the tires going to fall apart

the mods aren't crazy, I did go to a local off-road shop to get the work done. The CMC looks like factory frame work.
I am right around a 2 inch lift and at the shop we disconnected the sway bar and ran it up the ramp to check rub.

Looks great. Yeah this is my truck currently on 5100’s OME 885’s and total chaos UCA’s.
Headstrong offroad AAL in the rear. Truck will look so much better with the 285’s. Just can’t really decide if i should keep the white letters or switch it up and do black letters.
When i got the truck in 2015 it had white letters so when i got the ko2’s i decided to keep em. i think i’m having such a hard time deciding if i should switch is because i’m so use to it having the letters out

The set I picked up only had black sidewalls, but I have seen some trucks that look great with white out. Your truck looks good with white out.
The 285s look really good on our trucks.

    The side by side picture is with a 265 70 17 mounted beside a 285 70 17 unmounted.

Since when did Jeep switch to a 285/70r17? They’ve been running 255/70r17s for years.

looks like the Rubicons had them back in 2017 and probably later, other models were probably running the 255s
It’s a great way to pick up tires, I got 5 like new for $900 CDN, saved lots.

I'm doing 35 in the front and 30 in the back, the ride is good and mpg are staying up as well.
Did you track down a set as well?

I have been looking for a while haha. the one site i bought the 265’s i have has em for 242 a tire. But on the same ones without raised white letter it says save $50 on a set. makes no sense why white letters don’t have that option.
I am also waiting to see if i can get them any cheaper. But need them real soon. hopefully black friday will have a sale.
But i also noticed they started charging for shipping now which makes it more expensive.

just looking on Amazon and they are $242 but with free shipping, should be some good deals coming up, they were $200 a tire last year around Black Friday on Amazon.com

oh damn really?? yeah i saw that Amazon has them as well which may be my next go to. as i don’t want to pay shipping whatsoever.
Tire-easy has them as well for like 251 but they do price match.

The site i have been looking at 4wheel parts had them for 930 shipped a few weeks ago free shipping but i didn’t want to pull the trigger bc i feel i can deff get them for under 900 shipped and would kick my self if i saw a deal shortly after buying.

Anyone know of any sites doing black friday sales. Looking to find these ko2’s at the best price and $242 a tire is currently the price all around
