I have an 08 DC sport with TSB rear springs and billies @ 0.85 up front. right now i have the stock Dueler HT's and do not like them, they have 18k on them and will likely last another 30k and i just want new tires. I was reasearching a lot and im thinking Cooper LTZ or maybe revo2's. i do 99% on road driving , i live in the northeast so snow is a consideration.

i was looking at 265/70/17 on my stock rims and they will fit on stock suspension from what I read here. i will be keeping stock rims no matter what tire i choose. i kinda want to go bigger but i cant find much info about TSB's set at 0.85". can i go bigger? will i need big spacers or just 1/4 inch? and if so what size can i do without major trimming?

    thanks

You can't go any bigger than the 265/70/17 without a three inch lift and wheel spacers (or properly backspaced aftermarket wheels).

I had 285's on my f250 and it was the best tire i ever had. they ate snow, mud and rain and quiet on hwy. i went the wrong way over parking garage teeth and had a small hole in 1 tire that was fixed with a plug. i still have them im just figuring how to lift my taco to fit them. the stock dunlops blow donkey dik. oh mu buddy swears by the revos on his ford exploder, stock

do you think they will ride rough. the guy at the tire shop strongly discouraged me from getting E rated on a Taco. He said they are way to stiff and heavy.

As long as you dont max their pressure, they should ride fine. Mine are 32-34 psi front, and 30-32 rear.

I got the revo 2's. They are a good tire. I like the p metric tires on this truck. I use mine as a daily driver so I want to get good gas mileage and the lighter tire definitely helps in that department.
