Already a few threads about it. I posted about it early this year when it showed up in an owner's survey.

I think it looks dumb. But very functional. Would prefer a closed trailer though.

    All my opinion.

Hold up, I thought it was just a marketing one-off concept for the auto shows. If its in a survey, does that mean they are actually considering production?

And as I said in the earlier thread, its cool for marketing and photos, but dumb as hell for practical use.

Yep, as you know I've had 12 of these trucks, been getting the surveys for years. Last survey had a bunch of accessory type questions, one of which was this trailer, even asked if you would prefer if it matched your trim level, different price points, etc. Almost every survey has had hybrid questions...

Rednecks have been doing that shit for 1000 years now. Car rusts, breaks in half no big deal put a hitch on the back end and use it for a trailer.

If they painted the trailer bumper to match the truck bumper, then I'm all in.

Maybe they could put a small electric motor in the trailer for 6-wheel drive. A pusher!

    OK, I'm done now.

But does the trailer REALLY need a trailer hitch?

You ever see the guy with the sightly creepy vibes that builds a train for the school fall fun fair using an old riding lawnmower and a bunch of plastic drums bolted to furniture dollies?

This is what that guy takes overlanding.

We had something similar when I was a kid. Dad would hook that thing up to the wagon put all our shit in it and we would camp and fish all over the place. Really needed it since it was 6 kids plus mom and dad. They are pretty functional but ugly as shit.

If I wanted one, I'd build my own. For far less money. Plus it'd be a 6 foot bed.
