Hey guys so I recently moved from my college town back to north Houston near Conroe. Does anyone know of some good trails that I can take my 2wd Tacoma on? I used to go off-roading all the time before I moved and now that I have a lift kit and 33s I want to test it out. I'm not trying to do anything to serious or go when its raining but i'd like to drive through a bit of mud and rough terrain. Let me know what spots y'all like to go to, I've been dying to see how much of an improvement my all terrains and lift kit make over the high way tires I've had to make due with for the past couple years.

Texas sucks for all things outdoors. You let me know if you find literally any offroad trails.

Conroe? B-52 brewey's parking lot is the most offroading I have done up there. You could try Sam Houston and see if any random trails pop off there.

Offroad trails? Sam Houston National Forest has some, but they’re roads - not wheeling.

Otherwise, good luck. Used to be some along Spring Creek, but that was years ago.

Wheels, tires, intermittent wipers, better rearview mirror...

I did a search for dirt road map sites, and I came up with https://gravelmap.com ... Here's a screen shot of the Conroe area.

Here are some "trails". Actually more forest service roads than anything.

Your other best bet is Austin/Dallas. Hidden falls, northwest oh park in Bridgeport, barnwell are a few I've tackled 2wd and got through fairly easily (trail parks are in order of difficulty)
