The shop next door to me has a 2020 TRD Off-Road Double cab long bed that they're looking to unload. (they asked me what I thought the value might be because they know I hang around the tacoma crowd)
It's got a hideous looking lift (4" Maybe) and 315's. Yakima bed rack, Rock slide engineering retractable steps, and I'm sure a few other things show trucks normally have.

    Mileage is 9939.

    Does $40k seem unreasonable?

Photography is not my best quality

It's worth as much as the region values it as. In one region it may find a buyer willing to pay $50k, another region it could be $30k.

If the lift is a drop bracket I would think that would effect the value in a negative way.
Just my thoughts because of frame mods

If they're leaving that sticker on the side. They should be paying the buyer for advertising thier company

I bet someone in SLC would overpay for a 3rd gen that has had its frame cut up for the 6” lift... if not there, then Texas definitely.

I looked a little closer underneath, it's a 4" lift, or at least the bracket is a 4" drop.

If it wasn't cut up to do a drop-bracket lift, they may want to return it to stock and sell it to Carvana.

Depends who you sell it to. A dealer will sell that for 20k and someone may buy that privately for 50k. If I had to guess, I'd say 30k to someone who is interested in the truck.

It’s market value. Is there a lot of >4 in lift kits in your area if so then 40k is going to be eye catching for a person that’s looking for a turn key truck.
Where I’m at, a dealer would rip you on trade in, turn around and put that truck up for sale for about 45k maybe even 50k depending on what drop bracket lift was put on.
