Loud whine noise in reverse after lift install

    Hello TW peeps.

    I've recently installed a lift kit (Icon set up so maybe 3 inches of lift) on my taco (2018 OR 4WD) consisting of UCA's, coilovers up front and new leaf springs and shocks in the rear, and wheels and tires. First time doing something like this to one of my vehicles but felt like it was manageable.

    Anyway took it for a quick spin around the block today before getting the alignment done tomorrow and all went well until I backed up into the driveway. I heard a distinct whine as soon as the truck moved backwards in reverse. It's not unlike the typical reverse whine, just much louder.

    I'm wondering if this is typical after lifting?

    Also, full disclosure, when the front driver side was in process the spindle slipped a time or two causing the CV to maybe over extend. Wondering if this may be my issue. Anyway wondering if any of y'all have any insight before I take it to the shop tomorrow.

    Update:

    Taco’s in the shop. Thinking it is the parking brake rubbing. Parking brake line may have been inadvertently tugged on during install. TBD. Plus alignment will be done.

    Just kick the wife out to get rid of the whine. Kidding in all seriousness my guess would be since the parking break stretched to the max but its strange that its only doing it in reverse.
