Hey guys, I recently went from a 2016 sport to 2018 OR. After I shift from reverse to drive I’m able to start driving no problem amd everything is normal until about 2sec later when I hear something that is like a click then engaging sound simultaneously. I don’t know what it is but I never had that on my 16sport. It is coming from the dash behind the steering wheel. Just curious if anybody has an experience or knowledge on the subject. Thanks in advance!

I think I know the sound you're talking about but haven't figured out what it is. I only notice it when I first pull away after backing out of my garage. Seems to me it happens as I turn the wheel and pull away. Interested to hear theories.

It's normal, also happened regularly on my 2018. My theory is some kind of function having to do with the electronic brake booster system.
