SB vs LB: How to confirm the bed length

This is the sort of answer I was hoping to find. I'll see what I can decode.

 

If it fits in your garage, it's a short bed.

 

Always thought a tape measure worked.

 

Some of them are a bit inaccurate!

 

A long bed is still longer than a full size short bed

 

and a full size short bed is still shorter than a long bed . . .

 

Maybe not the best way to measure - I can park in my garage with my 6 foot bed and my atv trailer hooked up.

 

I have always thought the perfect garage would be 50’ long, 25’ wide and a garage door on both ends.

 

I tried with with my DCSB but did not see any reference to bed length in the specs listed. TW 3rd Gen has a thread on what each digit means but it does not seem to translate to 2nd gen.

 

The guy I bought my house from was a retired firefighter who liked welding and stuff.
It has heat, seperate panel wired for welding, it’s pretty nice
The two doors would be what I would do if I add a third bay.
