I'm looking for any recommendations/tips for building a DIY bed cover for my '17 taco. All of the one's i've seen online to be purchased wouldn't work with the yakima bedrock tower system I'm hoping to keep. (link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009P3MLG4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

I was wondering if anyone has used some sort of waterproof fabric and attached it to a high-grade plywood and just make cuts needed for my tower setup. I'm also hoping i can make it a tri-fold with a few stainless steel hinges.

Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks!

What if you pick up a cheap fabric roll up tonneau and just cut it around the mounts? It will definitely compromise some of the weatherproofing of it but since its flexible it may work!
