Yes. Fog light assembly is interchangeable.

Well... I had 18 TRD Sport MT with H11 fogs. I thought they'd fit in my 2020, but nope, H16 fogs.

Not sure this question needs a poll, especially one where your choices are “1” or “2”!???

    Excluding LED options:
2016-2019 had H11 fogs in TRD trucks (non-Canadian) and H16 fogs in non-TRD trucks
    2020+ has only H16 fogs

The assemblies should be interchangeable between years. Bulbs between the H11 to H16 will not be.

I didn't know this so, in my ignorance, I put Nokya NOK7618 Hyper Yellow halogen H11 bulbs in my H16 housings without any problem. Apparently not all H11 bulbs have the same tolerances.

Hmm. You certain the old bulbs you removed were H16? H11s can sometimes be modified to fit but I haven’t heard of them being direct plug and play, though could be possible with some brands.

Absolutely certain. I was expecting them to be H11, but they were H16. The Nokya H11s went in easily, without a problem.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I just got a pair of Hella XY H11's to replace the stock bulbs in my 2021 OR fog lights. When I removed the old bulbs I was surprised to see they were H16, I thought I had read all of the old threads about H11 fog lamps. I went ahead with the replacement and the H11's went in without a problem. Based on what I'm seeing now, they may not be safe/smart for the new housings running H16s.

Are these new bulbs a no-go?
