    I'm running Dobinson leaf's on mine, I originally had the factory 4 leaf TSB pack and they were horrible with the leer cap. The ride with the Dobinson is fantastic, Mike was awesome on the CS side of things.

    He was so good to work with, I bought a used set of Dobinsons for my camp trailer :rofl: He always seems to post his 99% off sales during the day while I'm asleep though

    Looking at getting some Dobinsons too with the current black Friday sale going on. I'm running a 2010 DCLB with a cab height fiberglass shell, looking for 3 inches in the rear but don't want much more for the sake of ride quality. A constant load of ~75 pounds but that goes up to ~150 pounds for trips. I'm between the 111R and 112R...only because Dobinson lists the payload rating as much lower for long beds on their website. I'm leaning towards the 111R any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

    I haven’t installed mine yet but according to the website you will only get a little over 2” of lift.

    With the weight you're carrying, I'd recommend the L59-111-R, but you won't be at 3". More like 2-2.25" of overall lift. You could run the heavier L59-112-R which are stronger again and will be taller, but they would be firmer than desired. You'd get the lift you want, but the ride wouldn't be as good.

    Thank you both! I'm ok with the firmer ride. I was just worried if the L59 112-R would be way too much for what I've got.

    I went with the L59-111-R for mine with a leer cap on the back and it rides great, truck should of come like this from the factory. The oem leaf's are junk.

    Did you change the front suspension also? Interested in upgrading my springs as I have a hi shell, lumber rack, and sleeping platform, but I don't want to raise the truck up a bunch. Thinking maybe airbags but new leafs do sound like the better way to go.

    @Crikeymike

    this thread popped up at a good time for me. i'm looking into leaf spring options on my 2017 DCSB.

    i currently have about 1.5" lift and like it. i'd like to keep it more or less the same although i can adjust a bit no problem. i'm currently on 265/70-17's and would like to be able to run 33's and go back and forth if possible. current leafs are TRD Pro and they are pretty wasted.

    i do not run added weight, just 100lb sliders, a 80lb rear tube bumper, and the spare in the bed. i was originally looking at stage 1 U402's, but i'm not sure if those will overlift me.

    do you have any input? thanks for your time.

    Hey man. You'd end up with more lift by changing to Dobinsons most likely. The medium 110's are 2"2-2.25" on an empty truck and will probably still be around the 2" mark with the weight you have on there now. Dobinsons doesn't make any shorter than that.

    They're due to arrive in mid-June.

    @Crikeymike im at 24.5” hub to flare in the front. 23.75” in the back with a 2” quick ride block. Constant 150lbs in/on the bed…. 111s? Id like a little rake

    Hey man. Yeah, the 111's would be the most ideal to get the rear up to 24.5"-25". They're sold out though now and we don't have a restock date. Probably end of the year unfortunately.
