The Cyclone was a dream machine for me also. I made a weak attempt to get a late-80s S10 ExtCab, but it didn't happen. A couple friends had them and they seemed to do pretty well. I still see some running around here.

I see them everyday, but they have mail truck cabs on them.

It is but if you back off throttle now you retain control. Extreme example: You are in loose gravel and you floor it. Both wheels spin so throttle retards. If you keep the pedal on the floor, you will continue to have reduced throttle but under computer control. If you back off yourself, you can then apply slowly and increase it to get acceleration even in loose gravel.

The taco is the first automobile I’ve owned with traction control. I didn’t even know what traction control was until I threw the truck into a drift on a sandy corner and came to a sudden stop and had to put it in 4wd to get unstuck. From that time forward I turned that crap off whenever wanting to have fun.

I do still appreciate it at times. I was driving to work on the interstate one very icey morning squeezed between 2 semi trailers on each side and cars in front and back when I suddenly lost all traction and started skidding. VSC activated and brought it back straight almost before I could react at all.

You definitely need to prepare it you want to have fun. It was traction control doing bad things on our previous cars that was my problem.
