    Yes. Even the MIM bridge with big steel block is a great upgrade.

    Yea, I bought it.

    That type of trem just wasn't meant to be dive bombed.

    That guitar I sold you stayed in tune really well. From everything I read, the tuners and the bridge were the worst. The ruby red one that I have, I switched the tuners to vintage Schallers because the old tuners had slack in them.

    Except the Schallers were the 90 deg instead of the 45 deg like the tuners that are on it.
    So I tossed the ruby in a corner till I could re drill the holes.

    I'll let you know if this fender mim trem hold tune any better. If anything, the block replacement is an upgrade from the cheap pot metal one which should increase sustain.

    I think I'll strip the body and repaint it.
    Drop my "85" reverse zebra Schaller in it.
    Add a set of gotoh or sperzel locking tuners.

    So.....paint scheme????? hmmmmmm????

    I don't know about translucent. But the red and black are great colors. One I've always wanted to do was Warren D. Martinis scull and blood charvel paint scheme.

    Actually, I just screwed the trem in yesterday. Ive gotten so used to playing without one I didnt even miss it.
    Until I did.
    It handles dives np

    As for the sustain, I cant imagine it getting any better but if it does let me know.
