I need to go get my fuel pump recall fix and was wondering what’s your preferred dealer? (best of the worst )

I have an aftermarket grill with TSS and want to avoid a headache or get a bad job done in the truck...

    Suggestions

Avoid Hammer in North hills. They charge per individual items. Timing belt then another charge for water pump even though the two are to be done together. Stripped bolts and so on. Honestly they are quite rude. Keys in van nuys was honest but said they would take my money if I had them check the springs if they determined that nothing was wrong. Simi valley seems pretty good. Sales people gave me a sour taste when I dealt with them. North Hollywood took forever on an oil change and didn't have very good customer service. Been doing a lot of my own stuff after seeing what they charge and the customer service of dealerships.

Pretty sure the fuel pump recalls aren't ready to be fixed. They're still figuring out what to do.

I forgot to say I live in LA. Thanks for the input

According to the Toyota owner’s account it’s ready. I haven’t called to confirm but I’ve also read of other people getting it already.

I had my fuel pump recall done back on 10/6 at Miller Toyota in Anaheim. No complaints on that service, but had a less-than-stellar experience this week when I brought the truck in because my clutch pedal was rattling over higher-speed bumps. Naturally, they didn't hear it when they crawled over a speed bump, so I had to show them how to send it over the speed bump to replicate the noise lol

I've had luck with Toyota of Glendale. My radio was having problems and they fixed it under warrenty without a lot of hassle. I buy my parts from them, they're good at haggling on prices

Thanks for all the input! Anybody had an aftermarket grill and TSS when getting service done? Any hassle?

Avoid Carson toyota. I once had to make repairs on a 6 week old truck in the service writers area because they were too busy.

I've used South Bay toyota since and have been happy.

Avoid Bob Smith in La Crescenta. They're so busy that they just rush cars through without properly following service check list.
