Does anyone have a recommendation for an axe mount that will mount to the side of the prinsu rack? If you have pictures of your rig can you please share them?

Easiest way to go would probably be to just bolt a couple of quick fists onto the side of the rack with 1/4" bolts and nylock nuts.

There's plenty of space along there to mount two in a line then just clamp the handle in when you want the axe on board.

Personally, I just carry a tomahawk (the back spike can be used a bit like a logging pick to drag bigger logs around if needed), but with a 2WD truck, I'm not really getting so aggressive that I'm likely to need to cut anything bigger than some larger branches. The hawk fits in along between the driver seat and the center console.

If you left off the back side of the tube clamps with this mount and just bolted the brackets to the side rail of the rack, this would mount onto a Prinsu, for those who can't abide anything other than hard brackets.

Or for less than half the cost, you can get two of these and bolt them to the rack individually (either on the side or onto a couple of the rails with the proper nuts).

I ended up using BuiltRight risers with quickfists. The front mount has 2 bolts in it and the rear has one. It’s not going anywhere and can be adjusted to wherever on the rack.. You’d also have to use just one bolt for the front if you moved it anywhere else. It would still be solid as a rock either way. 37A30525-43AB-4C62-BB54-6474A4783726.jpg
