The person that had my Tacoma before me had put a trailer on the rear bumper and of course bent it down. Plus, there is a pretty good dent in the bumper itself where it looks like he might have backed into the trailer tongue. I am looking for a 3rd party rear bumper. If I should ever tow something, I have enough sense to put on a tow bar made for it on the frame. Are the ones advertised on Amazon like this one:

a decent enough replacement? Essentially, it is for looks and to step on from time to time.

It's probably fine. I would hit the inside with a few coats of paint to hold the rust back. I've been told that 3rd party bumpers rust faster then factory.
Also, my factory bolts where on there tight. I strongly suggest having an impact gun.

The price looks good for what is included.
Third party bumpers do rust faster than OEM (I have one). I needed a bumper and bought one online (I think eBay). It came painted and slightly damaged. It rusted right where the damage is.
I have since bought an OEM bumper (which I need to have painted) so I can replace the one I have now.

Thanks! I do have an impact gun. I will be watching the lists for a Toyota bumper for sure. If not, I will order one and I will take some care in painting the inside of it.
