LCE definitely has developed some awesome 2TR engine internals. Makes me want to buy all the things, build for longevity and beefiness, and all the rev limiter bangin!

    Legit concern/question time

Which would you rather, on a stock-ish motor:
Flex fan and spacer that looks like it'll slice your bones and froth up a mud hole? (~$100 cost)
Complete crank fan delete and all electric plastic fan with sexy metal tank? (~$400 cost)

Way I see it, both are better than our heavier stock fans, removing some of that parasitic loss. I have no cooling issues, yet, just a preemptive strike now that I've got the 35s on and staying with 4.88s.

Relocated the oil cooler under the passenger headlight and then bolted on the URD SC again yesterday. Took longer than I expected but it is running good so far!

With a stock motor I'd stay with the stock fan clutch for reliablity, but that's just me. I've got the stock one with 270k on mine

E fans are nice and I have considered one myself, but I'd probably end up doing something custom with dual Efans if I was to go that route. I have read mixed reviews about the flexalite one that LCE sells so I'm a bit skeptical lol.

Ah, I see. That's what I'm looking for, though, feedback.

Has anyone used the Denso 5345 IKH22 spark plugs on their 2.7L?? I have a 2010 reg cab pre runner... I haven’t had any issues with the truck and I’m not even sure if this truck has ever had the spark plugs replaced but I’ve put over 100K miles in myself so I figured it would be a good time to change (total 213k miles)
Everywhere I look online, Walmart, summit, denso products.. they all say this spark plug won’t fit my truck.

I just want to double check if anyone’s changed their plugs and had any issues or can confirm fitment and function.

The overall length and width of the 5345 ikh22 are the same as the 5346 ikh24 im running in my truck, so they will fit 100%. However if your truck is stock, the Denso SK20HR11 are the better choice imo. The 5345 are one step colder so im not sure what effects that would have running it with a naturally aspirated setup. Typically you go with colder plugs in boosted applications. Now that I think of it I believe @dirtdigginjoe is running the 5345's but his truck is turbocharged

Yeah she’s stock for the most part, starting to build her up little by little & hoping to add a header soon but there’s still some time before I go to boosted/SC so I guess I’ll stick with the SK20HR11 for now.
    Thanks for your input!

Tinkered a little bit with the tune for the truck tonight. Started out with the file URD provides for their blower and then I added some fuel with the 5th injector. Before doing this I was having an issue where the truck would go lean in 3rd gear WOT at around 3500rpms and up. AFRs were in the high 13s under about 5psi. I wanted to see closer to the 11.5:1 range so I did a couple revisions and now AFRs are looking a little better. I think I remember @Torspd saying you tried to help your friend add some fuel to his tune a while back. Do you remember if it was also on the top end? The rest of the tune seems pretty good, it was only 3rd gear after going into open loop that it would act up

Prior to the open loop transition, around that area. Then something around or over 4500+. His was also pushing around 12 psi. We upgraded the 5th to an ~800ccm injector to help.

Thanks for the info! Yeah mine only makes about 8lbs at max boost. I put the stage 1 85mm pulley on it yesterday though after i noticed the fueling issue. it was making around 10lbs on the 80mm at 2k feet elevation

That's a good idea upgrading the 5th. Is this the one yall used? I am going to keep this in mind for fueling later on down the road

As a follow up to this, I have done a couple revisions to my tune over the past couple of days. The only thing I changed from the stock URD tune was on the 5th injector. All the primary injector stuff and timing has been left alone.

I was unhappy with the AFRs that the truck was having on the stock URD tune under low-mid boost in high load situations. I've got it pretty good now where in the 1-3lb range AFR is in the mid 12s and once it goes over 4.5lbs of boost it drops down into the 10.5 range. The whole reason I went after this was to try to get a good safe tune for my daily driver. I know every truck will be a little different, but figured it might be useful to someone, so I wanted to share.

For reference, I am running the following:
    - URD SC w/ stage one 85mm pulley
    - LCE header
    - URD power pipe
    - Stock catback
    - Stock toyota air filter

I am using the IKH22's with no issues. Sorry for the delay, I've been busy with life lol.
I don't see a reason to go with the IKH22's if you're staying N/A. The truck doesn't make enough pressure at the dome to warrant it when N/A.

Does anyone know how many CCs the stock injectors are rated for? Trying to figure out the biggest Injector i can run with the MAPECU3. It says no bigger than double the stock size
