    Hello, noob here. I will admit I have not read through all 384 pages and have not followed the vF tuner as closely as the flash kit. I was going to pull the trigger on the flash kit just as it was discontinued. Oh well, I hear the vF tuners have a lot more potential.

    I just purchased the vF Software and Flash Cable. Is that all I need to get started? I just want to make sure I don't think anything else from OVTune. I don't need the Tacoma 3.5L vF Tune Pack if I will be using the TW created tunes, right?

    Holy Sh*t!!! So I'm a long time user of 1.05 performance and decided to finally load Moose and Papa's MD.87_Perf+Pwr_v3.0.zip rather than waiting any longer for 2.0 performance to be released. What a deference in driving performance! I am 2017 TRD Off Road, stock gears and tires. I only reset the LV with this tune. First drive to work this morning and spun tires and traction control activated pulling out of my street. Acceleration is so smooth, no more sputtering in the powerban around 3K rpm mark and I don't feel the anchor I've been dragging the past year or so. In fact almost feels like my truck is being pushed from behind and will coast now without the lockup feel I previously had. Great work Moose and Papa!!! Anyone waiting for 2.0 release should just load this version 3 tune. Matt could probably get away with copying this tune and there would be many satisfied AT guys!

    Just to get 100% clarity, when you change Differential Gear 1 & 2 to your desired gears, the 1st-6th gear size change automatically in their corresponding fields correct?

    This tune is pretty great on my 04B04 2017 using 87. My favorite tune I've run yet.
    I'm running 32" tires with minimal extra weight (canopy).

    The power is there for sure! You really notice it passing.
    My only thing with this tune is that the throttle is a little touchy for me especially for snow/ice, and I'm for some reason getting more driveline clunk when coming to a stop when cold. And mileage is down somewhat. Good job @PapaRee and @Mooseditty17 . Interested to see if you can progress this one? I don't want to try Mild and Wild if the throttle is any touchier.

    Mild is ETC Pwr off. Wild is ETC Pwr on.

    If mild is too much for your taste, it can be adjusted.

    The clunking I'm thinking isn't tune related...

    Which file you running? M+W is pretty calm in Mild mode. Calmer than Perf+Power. That's actually why I made M+W

    I'm experiencing the same driveline clunk bud. It started when I loaded the 3.0 tune. A couple of the older OVTune tunes did it as well so maybe some change you made brought it back unknowingly. I hate even making comments like these because... this truck. Maybe it's mellowing out though with more miles. I have about 300 on it so far. For what it's worth MPGs dropped a couple, not that I care too much about that. I'd rather have performance.
    In any event I may have to try your M+W tune. Probably better for towing my camper anyway?
