I'm totally going to have to make one of these now. My back seat almost never gets used and it would be nice to have a spot to throw my fridge.

2/3 rd rear seat delete. Kept one rear seat.

Baltic birch platform, two sided tape to hold carpet. Used existing seat hinges to get to existing storage. Also keeps a simple path to revert to stock.

This was a fun little project! I pretty much copied the best of what I saw here as best I could. The noise with nothing in there is crazy! Anyway, pics..

The road noise was through the back right not the floor?

nicely done. i recently deleted the 40% seat, and used this to sound deaden, has made my life much more enjoyable (and i can have conversations again) behind seats, up the 'C' pillars and down under the cubbies

Yep. Had a ton of Raam Mat left over from a subie I had several years ago and then put two inches of foam board insulation behind the upright board. It’s quiet as a church mouse now. But I had to drive it around for a day or so with nothing back there at all and was just surprised how ineffective the factory deadening is.

Mines not quite as thorough but quite an improvement over nothing. Just as quiet as before removal.

Awesome, thank you! Planning my sleeper platform, I'm thinking I might try to leave the factory rear panels up for now and see how it does/if I have enough room there. Would be easier and keeps it closer to factory.

I just recently picked up the Goose Gear rear seat delete for my double cab. Looking for suggestions for two dogs to ride in the back comfortably. maybe some sort of velcro'd down padding or something?
