Pulling the trigger this week on new tires for my all stock 2020 TRD OR. I am looking at Nitto Trail Grapplers and Toyo Open Country MT in 265/75R16 in that size I am leaning towards the Toyo in this size as it is slightly wider than the Nitto. Nitto= 31.89/10.51 vs Toyo= 31.8/10.8. From everything I have read it seems this size will fit without issue, however I noticed Nitto makes the Trail Grappler in 285/70R16= 31.89/11.50. What do y'all think? Would the 285/70R16 fit or would it potentially rub on the UCA or anywhere else for that matter? According to several different tire calculators I have found and used it shows the 285 being roughly a 7.5% increase in width. Any preference between the Trail Grapplers and the Open Country MT? Thanks in advance for the help.

285/70r16 is an oddball size and will cost out the ass. 75r16 are everywhere for half the money.

Thanks for info everyone. I ended up going a completely different direction and getting 17” sema wheels and 265/70r17 Ridge Grapplers.

Best move I think. No regear, no calibration needed, no extra weigh providing you didn't go E rated, great fit, no trimming, rubbing and best wheel and tire package. I did the same thing.

Yeah I stuck with the SL rated for the time being since it fits the bill for what I really need right now.

I started off with 265s but then like so many other guys I finally went up to 285/75/16s. Fuck it, ya only love once right? Lol
I did do ucas and a cmc to stop the rubbing at full lock.
