Been busy prepping the garage / fulfillment center!

Harbor Freight had a sale and I fell victim



Cleaned up and organized my tools, snagged a power strip with work lights and USB ports for cheap from Lowe’s





Notice my sketchy outlets I added to the wall, as I only had one on the ceiling

Prepping for the cold by insulating the garage door

wipe the door down



Pop into place





Used the scraps to get above the garage door too.



Started sealing all the gaps I could too



Also, welcome to my trash can build.

the wheels were trashed and one fell off, so I upgraded the wheels and axles



3/8” threaded rod axle, heavy duty wheels, spacers for axle bushings



Eye ball the length



Drilled the spacers out to act as a bushing



Nylock nuts to keep the threaded rod in place



My OCD made me measure so the shafts were equal length



some washers to set track width (yes my hardware is stainless, I’m boogie)



Annnnd done. $15 spent on a worthless trash can



An Added benefit is its bottom heavy now

That's actually why I did it. I went to Lowes to get a replacement, and they were like $50 or more!

So I picked up threaded rod and hardware there and some wheels at HF and saved some coin lol

Crikey, not only is that illegal it's downright dangerous. Put some THHN in metal conduit, doesn't cost any more money and it'll be done right. Once that wire shorts out against the box, insurance won't cover your house when it burns down.

Electricity travels faster than a round tuit, don't understand why someone would take the time to half ass that when it's no more work to just do it right the first time

what should I use?? I didn’t actually do that myself, a friend of a friend offered to hook me up while we were on our honeymoon lol
