Hey guys. I recently did a project on my 2007 tacoma where I built a custom wooden flatbed for it. I had to install some different tail lights on the back and I've had some issues with the running lights. So far I've gotten everything to work except the running lights just by process of elimination hard wiring it. I havent been able to find anything on the color code of the wired for 2nd gen tacomas anywhere. Does anyone know the color code to the wires on the tail lights or have any tips to get the running lights to work? Any advice is appreciated. THANKS!

All tail lights and license plate lights are green. Left rear turn is blue/black. Right rear turn is blue/yellow. All stop lights are blue. Ground is always, always, always white/black on these trucks.

You do have separate brake and turn signals, right?

    Do the brake lights work?
Do you have power to the 10A Fuse?
    Is the Fuse good?

Start with the easy stuff first.

Sounds like you've verified power to everything. Have you verified grounds?

You need power, the ability to carry current, good bulbs, and good grounds.
Did you check the fuse? That’s simple. If there is power to the fuse, then you can move down stream.
