Just got bumpers back from powder finally. Although, fairlead doesn't fit... this is the 1.5in not sure if I should get the 1in instead? The one that comes with the VR fits fine but not huge on the way it looks.

Installed @SpikerEng hood struts this morning. My pop rivet gun was kind of too big but I made it work..

I hate to say this but same goes with por15. I por15 mine before the frame swap and I could see water got inside the layer of por. Fluid film all the way.

Oil change... cleaned off some corrosion on my battery terminals... took off my nerf bars...

Hey @Discount Tire here is the set up with no nerf bars and in the daylight.

I was going to do new brakes and rotors and rear diff fluid also but my friend with the level garage got busy with other things.

Come hell or high water, with or without help, I was bound and determined to get my Mobtown Offroad hybrid bumper installed today. Used some left over 2x4s, a 2x6 and a chain hoist and rope to get it up in the air to get it installed. taco95.jpg
Still need to get the winch (Smittybilt X20) and lightbar (Tractor Supply) wired up and get some new hardware for the 2 sideplates tomorrow. Also still need new foglights and to trim the inner fender plastic.taco96.jpg
This short piece that hangs out in this photo. Can I assume that everybody just cuts it out flush tot he end of the bumper?taco97.jpg

yeah it has a bolt that you can just take off on the bottom. You could install a @Nimble9 flush plate it looks like with your bumper to seal it off.

That looks great . We've seen some previous difficulties using larger rivet guns for the fender brackets - one fairly easy solution (other than getting a skinnier gun) is to loosen the three bolts on top of the fender and to slightly pry it away from the body to provide the needed room for the rivet gun. I'll update the instruction manual with this suggestion.

Big day for Rosie... Rear diff service, spark plugs, and had a tech look at the fluid level in my automatic transmission... Unlike many people I have read about with under-filled trannys, mine was actually overfilled by half a quart. The tech (used to work at a Toyota dealership for 15 years before the dealer closed because of COVID) thinks my shifting issues were caused by this.

I have smelled exhausted and burnt diff fluid before, but damn, gag a maggot level of stink.

Yup, I did that exact step watching a YouTube video. But loving the kit! Already helping me when I had to reach in for a melted wire harness of my rear led pods.

Gapped the old plugs...I’m sure y’all have seen worse, but mine were 0.049 and 0.051 for the worst one. They weren’t the iridium plugs that my dad paid for either at 60k. Comes to no wonder that when I looked up the shop that did the service, out of business.

Lol it happens, wouldn’t probably notice the bolt unless you’re really looking. Should take you all of 30 seconds tomorrow

Don't know and I don't care to know.
