I can’t comment on the right or wrong parts but here’s how to install it:
Unplug the factory harness plugs from the stock bulbs.
Remove the factory bulbs - don’t touch the glass on the bulb and save them in case you need to replace a burned out bulb.
Install the new bulbs - don’t touch the glass
Plug in the female plugs from the harness you bought into the new bulbs
Plug in the male plug from the new harness into the factory headlight female plug
Route the wires back to the battery
    Orange goes to battery +
    Black goes to battery -
    Have a beverage

Thank you good sir! About to go install everything right Now. Doing the bulbs, harness and a TRD pro Grille. Even tho the grille i bought is a POS. Had to shave off a bunch of extra plastic from the mold. And had to plastidip the Toyota letters because the finish on them scratch super freakin easy. Oh well.

I seem to recall there will be (1) oem headlight plug unused after the install (believe mine was the passenger side...not near the truck to confirm).

If so, be sure to wrap some appropriate tape around and over that unused plug to keep the elements out.

Yep -- see post 2943 on pg 148 I believe...confirms taping the unused plug

Thanks for the reminder! I wrapped electrical tape real good around the passenger female connecter and the stock driver female/harness male connection. Was way easier than I thought

Good to hear! Post back here and tag me once you’ve had a few days (er, nights) under your belt using the bulbs. I have to do mine and a set on the kid’s car

Just a heads up/FYI, Keep a close eye on your wire routing. Vibrations can potentially wear through the wire insulation if not secured properly. Also, try to clip the tag end of the cable ties closer to the "head" of the tie. They can be wicked sharp and really tear up your hands. I'm not criticizing but but sharing some hints to help avoid mistakes I've made in the past.

    About halfway done...
Figured this is a good thread to give an update. I installed the wiring harness and all season bulbs around 3/23/19
Then added the voltage booster. Start up voltage is around 14.2
The passenger bulb burned out 8/31/20. ( Quick burn out on start up, see photo)
So about 1 year 5 months
Funny thing is the performance of just the driver headlight was more than sufficient for night time driving.
I decided to replace the passenger bulb with a stock bulb. Then when the driver all season goes out replace both with new all seasons.

Right on man, I have it zip tied pretty good in there and I made sure there wasn't gonna be any unesserary movement and rubbing. Pretty funny you noticed my shitty zip tie cutting. I couldn't find my little wire snips so I quickly grabbed a dull box cutter in reach and hacked away at them hahaha. I'm gonna go snip them tomorrow.

Took the truck out after dark tonight. Heres the before and after on a loading dock wall.

Went on some real dark backroads and they were super mpressive. It might be a while before I can check back in with a thorough opinion. First impression is really good tho.

Curious if you guys had seen theses bulbs? I was looking around for a brighter NON-LED 7440 alternative for our Subaru Ascent and ran across some different H4 bulbs oddly enough.

CEC Industries 130w/90w (I don't know the brand but there are couple good reviews)

Can't say I've seen any of these bulbs tested in this thread. Or heard of these brands.

Assuming it's not some sort of stock photo, that Eiko 100/80 bulbs filaments look like they coiled 20ga wire, if that's an actual bulb, that's going to be one poor performer.

Where is an updated source for the high output 9003 H2/H4 bulbs? Link in the OP leads to a discontinued product? Foolishly bought an upgraded harness and didn't look to see that they weren't in stock.

The best source is usually PowerBulbs, as listed in the OP. Unfortunately, the recommended Osram Super Bright 100/90w 2900 lumen H4s are "currently out of stock." Previously recommended Osram Hyper 85/80w 2400 lumen H4s and Osram 70/65w Hyper bulbs were discontinued years ago, but I don't recall anything about that for the currently recommended Osram Super Bright 100/90w 2900 lumen H4s. Unless you've already done so, I recommend contacting PowerBulbs directly to confirm when the Osram Super Bright 100/90w 2900 lumen H4s will be back in stock.

Took a chance and went with 2 sets and the headlight services harness.

Assuming they're actually made in Germany, you're good to go. If not, they should still work, but may not provide the same performance and lifespan as those that are made in Germany.

Blistering above the low beam filament was relatively common on the 85/80w hypers by the time of failure.

Never heard of Raybrig, Peak or CEC. I'd be curious if the Raybrig is actually made in Japan or not. Note that you can get into diminishing performance with going too high in wattage as demonstrated by the 130/90w Hellas tested in the thread. I cannot comment on the performance of any, as I have not tried them, but would be weary of off brands.

There are 2 links, those for the 85/80w Osram Hyper bulbs that have been discontinued and left there for posterity, and the links for the 100/90w Superbrights which are still available but out of stock from PowerBulbs at the moment. They are not usually out of stock long. You can get them other places like Amazon, though Amazon does not package bulbs well at all and may send them relatively loose in an oversized box.

I wasn't sure if powerbulbs may not be able to stock them due to things I'm not aware of - if I had known they go out from time to time I might have waited, but no biggie in the big picture. They say they'll be 2-3 weeks shipping so I figure they must be from Germany

    or China

If they don't look the part I'll make use of customer service.

Seller is listed as ExtremeBulbs out of the UK. They say they are from Germany in the listing, so I'm sure they will be fine.
