I just installed a remote start myself yesterday on my 2018 limited. Accerssorides has a kit for $189 that works with your factory remotes as long as you have the push to start feature. (no key).
it was fairly easy with goon instructions and took less than an hour. I don/t know know about back up sensors or insurance, though I wouldn't think insurance would be affected at all. Good luck

Welcome. There are plug and play options out there for remote starts. 12voltsolutions.com is where I bought mine 3 years ago, not sure about back up sensors. Shouldn't affect your insurance though.
