You’re living the dream, man. Let me know when you want to give it all up and go be a stiff and I’ll gladly come take the truck and bike all off your hands for ya haha.

I’m found your thread because im looking for a Pyrite DCLB now. Great build.

ARE cap, Bedslide, Icon Stage 3 lift, 17" black steel FJ wheels, 32" BFG AT, ARB Winch Bar, IPOR sliders, Cobra 75 WXT. Other current vehicles: 2000 F350 TD Crew, 1996 Land Cruiser, 1987 Samurai, 2000 LX470, and 1979 Chevy Dump truck. Past: 1972 FJ40, 1989 FJ62, 1962 Unimog S404, and two 1967 Series IIA Rovers (one SWB, one LWB)
I have also upgraded to an E rated tire on all of our vehicles except for the Suzuki samurai. Because they are all outfitted for expedition style travel with trailers and higher static weight loads, I like the E tire even if it is stiffer on the road. I also went to a slightly larger size of 275 70R17 in BFG AT KO2.

These tires are wearing very slowly, but I am always interested in going to a taller but skinnier tire and there are new sizes in some very popular AT treads like the Nitto Ridge Grappler.

I’ve always liked 255/85-16s for your style travel. Nice whip.

I've scoured my email and cannot find a link. They were FJ Cruiser wheels, and of course it's been a long time since they were made.
