Hey, OP, you can keep skip the new car and get one hell of a motorcycle! Perfect for fun when you want it but you don’t have to commit to it as a daily driver

I considered a Pao or BE-1, but the turbo MA10ET won me over.

I’ll play! This is my 91 Volvo 740. Lifted, manual swapped, and with a largely rebuilt engine. Odometer stopped a little over 200k but she’s closer to 300 at this point

I have a 2001 s2000 It's great as long as you have something else do drive when you don't need any cargo space or more than one cup holder.

Just thought I'd bump this thread a touch. :)

Yesterday we sold one of our family's other vehicles. This beauty that my mom has owned since 1999.

    20201021_205011.jpg

We also have this temperamental lady! Also for sale.

This thread moves slowly! Hahah here’s my lady’s ride. 2012 Rubicon that we are both pretty proud of. 2.5” Rock Krawler Flex lift with front lower control arms, adjustable front and rear track bars, TeraFlex bump stops, and 5100’s and braided stainless front brake lines. 35x12.4 Wildpeak AT’s on 17” KMC wheels, and a TeraFlex tub mounted spare tire carrier. We have done all of the work ourselves, and I’ve been having fun teaching her how to work on things and fix things. I took this not-great photo after installing the higher clearance fender flares that I got her for Christmas this past year (first job in the garage after buying our first home!)

I also have my 2014 Honda Accord Coupe 6spd but I'm selling that this month so it gets no picture. You can kind of see it right next to the 2nd picture on the left.

There are some nice rides in this thread - in particular @greenEFSI S2000 and that nice old Civic hatchback

Beside the V6 TRD OR MT AC -
    I have an E82 128i I6
I love the BMW n/a I6 engine - it is just so smooth..

BUT I often think about selling the 128I and getting a Miata instead - I would like a RWD 'toy' vs. FWD
Mostly b/c I know I can make it fun as shit to drive for cheap, parts are abundant, insurance is low - I can get an older one with less ECU b/s
bang/buck = miata all day, every day
The market on the 128I is a bit insane these days - like I could sell it for almost what I paid 6+ [and 70K miles] ago - maybe time to cash out and run

I love the S2000 - but there just weren't enough made/enough aftermarket to keep me amused for a reasonable price..
