This year's been tough for finding Deals on Bikes. How FB?

Frame size, make/ model. Geo was all I read about when it came to deciding on which bike to get, however I chose one of the worst year to shop.
Seems to be a MTB issue more so, as I was able to buy my wife a bike. Specialized Roll, not my size... but man what a nice bike that is to ride.

My current bike is an old 26" hard tail and compared to what I see out on the trails - you'd think the Wright Brothers built my bike. However, I'm trying to find a middle of the road 29er hard tail but inventory has been an issue this year. Higher end bikes are available, but they're more machine than my riding. Sort of like buying a Z06 for daily driving in the city.

Not bad found a marlin 6 I might buy if the guy comes down a bit. Asking 650 for a bike that’s 660 new. Front derailleur doesn’t work right. Has new tires though. Trying at 5.

I was lucky enough to get down to Moab last week. Awesome views (and riding) on Thursday!

The trusty '09 Trek Fuel 8 with no dropper & 26" wheels is still going strong! No dropper does make getting behind the seat & then back over it a bit interesting when hitting steep descents.

Little Sunday fail for you guys. Friends first time on a wooden feature. He’s used to flat lake trails. Anyways he did good on some rough chop though I’ll give him that.

Niiiice! I'm not about to put it out to pasture but I'm happy having an older bike that I can moderately thrash and not worry about being out 3k or more if it poops the bed. Plus I'm more comfortable learning servicing & maintenance techniques on an older bike for the same reasons--ya don't learn to fly on a fighter jet!
