Never know what’s coming in here. Lady came by with this, she is going to use it as a headboard. Wanted the missing piece made and welded in but don’t mess with the patina and make it look original, um okay.

Sandblast it and have it powder coated your signature hitch lime green!

 

She actually carried it to the powdercoater and ask where to bring it to get it fixed but said she had been wire brushing it and was going to put polyurethane on it and leave it rusted.

 

I choose stone tablet, but my ultimate preference is to not have anyone contact me and leave me alone.

I forget the exact recipe, but water, salt and vinegar or hydrogen peroxide make steel rust super quick. We used to do architectural metalwork so lots of patinas and annoying people.

 

I suggested salt water on it for a couple days and she said no. I said okay you do you.

 

Lol.

I don't miss dealing with those types.

I say its based on context. Emailing nudes is so 2007, but my mortgage broker texting me some of the details of my refi closing is also weird to me.

Visited one of my favorite places, the surplus parts house!
Loads of really neat surplus and equipment at fair prices. it’s even fun to see some of the parts I’ve manufactured before here! (The black horseshoe shaped brackets)
I had to get a few more dry boxes to add to my collection. ($49 each for any size!)
The boxes were used for Faro Arm manufacturing inspection equipment. The last one I bought was from Tesla Motors!
