    I’m looking for someone specific here. Looking for anyone who has an Alpine F309 installed in their 3rd Gen. Need detailed photos of wiring on an Alpine f309 (halo) harness, maestro harness, and any clips used. I have seen every single on one here and internet but I still can’t find an answer. I need clear pictures of where each wire ties to. Starting this over.

    I have everything set up, but the camera is stuck on. I thought I fixed it but for some reason my DRL were stuck on. It seems like every time I think I fix and adjust something, I take 2 steps back.

    if anyone has pictures from their install or has this unit and takes the time to send me pictures, I’ll send $25 to them. Please, pictures need to include what I asked for, and clear. non-JBL

    I don't have an Alpine or pictures and I know you're asking for very specific input from someone who does, but I'd still like to help if I can. Did you connect these two wires or did you do something else? It sounds like you have the wrong thing connected to the reverse trigger wire of the Alpine.

    Purple/White is the reverse light + on the Maestro harness.
    Orange/White is the reverse input on Alpine stereos.

    Thanks, I certainly appreciate any assistance as my truck is disconnected from the battery currently lol.

    So I do have those connected, but I also have the orange (solid) tied in there. I did this off a hunch on another thread in here. This is where I think my DRL issue comes in.

    my main questions;
    Where does the solid orange (Illumination) wire tie?
    Yellow and black (foot brake)?

    thanks again

    Definitely disconnect the solid orange from those. I don’t think Alpine has a wire for illumination.

    The Yellow/Black and Yellow/Blue are for foot and E-Brake respectively. You may not have a Yellow/Black.

    A Little Bit Later

    Yeah I don’t see Illimination or Foot Brake in the Installation manual.

    Thank you. I’m clearly not an experienced audio person, but my logic was how hard is it to match color to color. Welp I learned the hard way it isn’t that easy.

    100% standardized color codes would be a Utopia. Can’t have that!
